Saddle Up! The RCMP Musical Ride is Coming to the 170th Spencerville Fair

This September, the Spencerville Fair is going BIG.

To celebrate 170 years of community, tradition, and rural pride, we’re thrilled to welcome one of Canada’s most iconic spectacles: the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) Musical Ride, live and in person, right here in Spencerville.

This isn’t just another fair attraction, this is a once-in-a-lifetime event.

What Is the RCMP Musical Ride?

If you’ve never seen the Musical Ride before, prepare to be amazed.

Performed by 32 uniformed RCMP officers on horseback, the Musical Ride is a jaw-dropping display of precision cavalry drills set to music. Riders execute intricate formations, some dating back to the 1800s, with absolute synchronicity, paying homage to the heritage and pageantry of Canada’s national police force.

The RCMP Musical Ride has represented Canada at royal events, world expos, and international celebrations. It’s not just a show, it’s a living symbol of Canadian pride, discipline, and unity.

Straight from the Calgary Stampede to Spencerville

This summer, the Musical Ride will perform in front of tens of thousands at the Calgary Stampede, Canada’s largest and most iconic rodeo. But after that, their next major stop when they return to Ontario is our very own Spencerville Fair.

In fact, we are the only fair in Ontario scheduled to host the RCMP Musical Ride in the Summer and Fall of 2025. So if you want to see them live, this is your chance.

Why It Matters

This performance is more than a highlight on our entertainment schedule, it’s a celebration of Canadian history and rural tradition, the very values that have fueled the Spencerville Fair for 170 years. From farmers and families to visitors of all ages, this show is guaranteed to leave a lasting impression.

And the best part? Admission to the RCMP Musical Ride is included with your fair ticket.
